How does the bike arrive?

Our simple assembly process makes it possible to use your skills to assemble your GT at home. GT bikes will arrive 80% assembled. To get out riding, you will need to first install handlebars, seatpost, front wheel, brake rotor (if applicable) and a set of pedals. Click here to learn more about how your bike will arrive. Also, please reference the owner’s manual, included with the bike, to ensure your bike is assembled properly.

Are the wheels tubeless compatible?

Yes, the wheels are compatible with tubeless, but you will need sealant, valve stems, and tubeless tires to set it up tubeless.

What headset is used on the Sensor Alloy?

The Sensor Alloy has a Semi-Integrated, 1-1/8” - 1-1/2” head tube. It utilizes a ZS44/56 internal headset.

What is the max rotor size for the rear brake on the Sensor Alloy?

The max rotor size on the rear brake is a 203mm rotor. The native brake rotor size without an adapter is 180mm rotor.

Can I convert my Sensor Alloy to 27.5" or MX wheels?

No, the Sensor Alloy is only compatible with 29" wheels.

What derailleur hanger is used on the Sensor Alloy?

The derailleur hanger is a Sram Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH). (Sram Part # 00.7918.093.000)

What is the max tire width on the Sensor Alloy?

The max tire width is a 2.5in wide tire.

Is the Sensor Alloy compatible with a coil shock?

Yes, it is compatible with a coil shock. The rear shock Eye-to-Eye / Stroke / Bushing Width is 185mm x 50mm Metric Trunnion/20mm x M8.

What is the maximum seatpost insertion on the Sensor Carbon?

The maximum seatpost insertion is: SM: 250mm MD-LG: 275mm XL: 297mm.

What bottom bracket is used on the Sensor Alloy?

The Sensor Alloy uses a BSA/73m bottom bracket.

What chain guide will work on the Sensor Alloy?

The Sensor Alloy will work with any ISCG-05 chain guide and bash guard mount.
